Its 20 degrees outside and the wind is blowing at 30 mph. I have the heat on, working inside doing little upgrades (LEDs) and working on the hood vent and water pump. I can feel a cold draft near the floor.
After feeling around, I found a 1/4 inch gap under the frig. I could look in the gap and see daylight coming from the exterior friig compartment hatch cover, and cold air is blowing in. There is a large gap under the frig, so I got a trusty can of expanding foam and squirted it into the gap.
The foam expands 3 or four times over the next hour or so, then starts to harden. The gap is now filled and no more air leak. After the foam cures for a day, it gets brittle and the little pieces that are sticking out simply break off, making cleanup easy.
